Getting Down to Work in the SFBA . . .

With this website, we have initiated a "virtual approach" towards a new generation of seismic alert systems with a variety of demanding features. We appreciate that some of our readers may be concerned about the degree of realism behind our unorthodox proposal.

That‘s why we will be setting up an operational prototype system in California in the very near future. By inviting specialists from all over the world to see and evaluate our hardware, we hope to put these concerns to rest and to initiate a fruitful discussion.

The RED Systems Initiative will begin setting up a pilot project in the SFBA in 2000.
