Can We Have Both?

On the other hand, we may be able to "have our cake and eat it too" if we use both types of sensors, FBAs for amplitude resolution and additionally larger numbers of silicon accelerometers for spatial resolution. Thus, we could combine the best of both worlds.

An additional benefit could be achieved by employing the RED System‘s data link to back-up the FBA sensor‘s communications systems. A hybrid array of both FBAs and silicon sensors would vastly extend the capabilities of all existing and plausible arrays.
